Recent Reading

39. The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of the Year, Volume 4, edited by Jonathan Strahan. As with other volumes in this series, while there were stories not to my taste, there were no bad stories in here. Heck, there were no mediocre stories in here. If this volume has a theme, beyond what is indicated by the title, I'd say it was Family.

40. Black Butler, Vol. 5, a manga, one of my not-so-guilty pleasures. Delightful curry contest in this one.

41. A Cup of Normal, by Devon Monk. Wow. This collection of short stories was my first exposure to Monk. Very impressive.

42. Lackadaisy, Vol. 1. daftnewt recommended the webcomic Lackadaisy to me some time ago, but I found it a bit dense to read online. In print, it's absolutely delightful.
